Executive Coaching for leaders who want honest feedback

Most coaching programmes give you a framework and send you off. We sit with you in the messy middle: the board meeting that went sideways, the promotion conversation you keep postponing, the team that quietly stopped trusting you. Based in Melbourne, working with executives across Australia and New Zealand.

What we actually do

Three coaching tracks, each designed for a different stage of your leadership career.

One-on-one leadership coaching

Six-month engagements for C-suite and senior leaders. We meet fortnightly for 75-minute sessions, either in person at our West Elimouth studio or over video. Between sessions you get async access via a private Slack channel. The first month focuses on a 360-degree feedback process with up to eight stakeholders you nominate. From month two, we work on the two or three behaviour changes that will make the biggest difference to your effectiveness.

New-role transition support

The first 90 days in a new executive role are when most derailments begin. This short-format coaching programme runs for 12 weeks and is built around a structured transition plan. We cover stakeholder mapping, early-win identification, and how to read the politics of an unfamiliar organisation. Sessions are weekly for the first six weeks, then fortnightly. Ideal for external hires stepping into VP or GM positions.

Team effectiveness workshops

Half-day or full-day facilitated sessions for leadership teams of four to twelve people. We use a combination of pre-work surveys, real-time exercises, and structured dialogue to surface the patterns that are slowing your team down. Common themes include decision-rights confusion, unspoken conflicts between co-leaders, and meeting overload. You leave with a written action plan and a follow-up coaching session four weeks later.

Why work with us

Our lead coach, Daniel Moretti, spent 18 years in operational leadership roles at two ASX-listed companies before moving into coaching full-time in 2016. He holds an ICF PCC credential and a Master of Organisational Psychology from Monash University.

That background matters because it means your coach has sat in the chair you sit in. He has hired and fired. He has presented to boards, managed a P&L, and navigated restructures. Coaching conversations grounded in that experience tend to be more direct and more useful than sessions led by someone who has only studied leadership from the outside.

We keep our client list deliberately small. Daniel works with no more than 14 coaching clients at any one time. That cap ensures you get genuine attention, not a factory-model coaching experience where your coach is juggling 40 relationships.

Confidentiality is absolute. We never disclose client names, and we do not share session content with your employer unless you explicitly ask us to. If your organisation is sponsoring the engagement, we agree on a reporting format upfront that protects your privacy while giving the sponsor enough information to see value.

What clients say

We asked three recent clients to describe their experience in their own words.

"I came in thinking I needed help with time management. Within two sessions, Daniel helped me see that the real issue was my inability to delegate without micro-managing. We spent four months rewiring that habit. My direct reports noticed the change before I did."

Karen Whitfield

Chief operating officer, logistics company, Sydney

"The 360 feedback process was confronting. I learned that my team found me unapproachable when I was under pressure. Daniel didn't sugarcoat it, but he also didn't let me spiral. We built a practical plan and I practised new behaviours in real meetings, not hypothetical scenarios."

Ravi Shankar

General manager, engineering division, Melbourne

"I was six weeks into a new CEO role and already second-guessing every decision. The transition coaching programme gave me a structured way to prioritise stakeholders and pick my early battles. Worth every cent."

CEO, health-tech startup, Brisbane
